Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Some items are not available to buy online, to purchase these products or for more information on any product, please contact us.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro (formerly Switch). Postage charges may be added to your purchase price, if this is the case we will contact you to confirm that you accept the postage charges and to arrange delivery. If you do not wish to proceed, we will cancel your order.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice.

Shipping And Handling We will contact you to arrange delivery of your item. Some purchases may require payment of an additional delivery charge, if this is the case we will contact you to confirm acceptance.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free.
Credit Card Security When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee (a) Where samples of goods or colour charts are provided, these are submitted only as an indicative of the class, size or colour of goods quoted for and sales of goods shall not be by reference to any such samples or colour charts.
(b) Whilst all descriptions and illustrations of the goods (inter alia) catalogues, brochures and price lists provided by the Sellers have been carefully prepared, they are intended nevertheless for general guidance only and do not form part of any contract for sale of goods and no responsibility is accepted for any errors or omissions therein or for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on such descriptions and illustrations.

(d) Where the Sellers agree to provide a specifically designed machine or installation, the Buyer agrees that he is obliged to check the accuracy and suitability of the machine or installation and that the Sellers shall not be liable for any omissions or inaccuracies in the measurements given. Any designs for machines or installations drawn up by the Sellers are, and remain their property and may not be reproduced in whole or in part without written consent. In the sale of equipment or installation service it is not implied that the goods are to current specifications for the premises.
Privacy Policy The Food Machinery Co Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Contracts and orders and parts thereof may be cancelled only by the Sellers written acceptance of such cancellation. Where the Sellers accept such cancellation; the Sellers reserve the right to charge the Buyer with the amount of any losses or expenses of orders directly or indirectly resulting from such cancellation. Where the Sellers do not accept such cancellation, they, the Sellers, reserve the right to recover the invoice price from the Buyer and to charge the Buyer with additional losses both direct and indirect resulting from such cancellation. In any case where the Sellers were required to place a deposit with a manufacturer or supplier in respect of an order, the Sellers may require the Buyer to reimburse such sum in the event of cancellation.
