Linear weighers use vibratory conveyors to feed the product from a common hopper into a weigh bin.
The computerised controls give a rapid feed until the weight in the bin approaches the target weight, then a trickle feed to add the last few items to get an accurate final weight.
The machine can be used as a stand-alone machine with a foot pedal control for manual filling of preformed bags or alternatively can be connected to any of our automatic bagging machines. We also supply mounting platforms and feed conveyors for the systems.
We can offer two head versions with 4.5Ltr, 15ltr or 25ltr weigh heads and four head versions with 500ml or 3ltr weigh heads. Linear weighers are particularly suited for dry free flowing products ranging from fine granular products such as salt / sugar / rice through to larger items such as sweets and snack products. We also offer Wash Down models!
