Linear weighers use vibratory conveyors to feed the product from a common hopper into a weigh bin.
The computerised controls provide a rapid feed until the weight in the bin approaches the target weight, then a trickle feed adds the last few items to achieve an accurate final weight.
The machine can be used as a standalone unit with a foot pedal control for manual filling of preformed bags, or it can be connected to any of our automatic bagging machines. We also supply mounting platforms and feed conveyors for the system.
This model of weigher has one weigh-head with a weighing range between 20–1000g and is particularly suited for dry, free-flowing products, ranging from fine granular items such as salt, sugar, and rice, through to larger products such as sweets and snacks. The hopper volume of this model is 4.5L, making it best suited for large quantities of product.
